Sorry about the slow updates lately. Both MASAssin Gods have been slightly busy and still need people to confirm kills with emails. It’s the last day of the weekend and a perfect time to MASAssinate someone.

NOTE:
1) The kill log has only been updated in cases where BOTH the person who killed/tagged and the person who WAS killed/tagged SENT emails. So remember if you are killed or tagged, please send the MASAssin Gods an email with the name of the victim, the approximate time, and location of killing.
2) Tomorrow’s Safety may be posted later, due to the fact that the MASAssin Gods will be coming back from Irvine.

Hey MASAssins,

The Gods have seen many of MASAssins in action recently, but questions have come up regarding safeties.
Therefore we wanted to clarify more information regarding the safeties:

1) If you tag someone during the buffer time, the MASAssin who attempted to tag will not be docked a point. The MASAssin Gods have decided that the penalty will simply be that the victim shall know who is trying to kill them.
2) Even if you are invited into a MASAssins apartment OFF CAMPUS, no one can get tagged inside of that apartment.

SAFETY for Saturday Jan 30 UPDATED.

Hello MASAssins,

Congratulations on those MASAssins that have made kills. These are definitely the MASAssins that have made themselves shine among the rest. Even if you did not make a kill, congratulations for surviving as well. With many MASAssins on the move, it is becoming increasingly difficult to survive.

Notes for Saturday:
1) MASA staff meetings will make MASA staff members immune from 15 minutes before 1PM when the meeting starts and 15 minutes after staff meeting ends.
2) FUSION meeting is a safe time as well. the 15 minute buffer is in effect from 3PM when it starts to approximately 5PM when it ends.
3) KunFusion Practice is safe 15 minutes before and after it ends.

Hey everyone,

So you may have noticed, today wasn’t as jam packed with updates as yesterday and I’m deeply sorry! I’m studying for my midterm that’s tomorrow morning. =’[ (I know… a midterm on a saturday *cry*) But for sure Willis shall put up some updates later on tonight. So do not despair! =D

Hey MASAssins,

The Gods have enjoyed seeing the many signs with MASA Love on them.
There are some questions that have been asked about the safety, so it’ll be clarified here!

1) The safety cannot be ripped off by another MASAssin. If MASAssins have these signs on them, please do not rip them off.
2) Also, the sign must have the words MASA and the picture of a heart on it.
3) If the sign is flipped around and the words MASA and the picture of the heart are not shown, then that MASAssin is susceptible to being MASAssinated. Please make sure to keep your safety securely attached on you, so that the picture and words MASA are clearly visible.

Questions and Clarifications:

1) If you tag someone, and they did not bring their target’s name tag with them or if they still do not have their target’s name tag, please email the Gods and we will try to get you a new name tag as soon as possible. You cannot tag someone without a name tag.
2) MASA staff members that are selling Spam Musubi tomorrow at Library Walk will be immune during this time. As a reminder, MASA will be setting up Spam Musubi from about 9:30AM and selling from 11AM to approximately 3PM (MASA might sell out earlier, in which case the 15 minute buffer time from tagging will start after MASA finishes closing and putting all materials away).
3) If you are in class with another MASAssin who is your target, or if you’re target comes into your workplace, you cannot tag your target in your class or work. You will have to wait until the end of your class or work before you can tag your target.

Hey all you MASAssins,

As of right now, there are 90 of you. However, by tomorrow, we suspect there will be significantly less. Today is the first day of play and by now most of you should have a good sense of who your targets are. If you are wondering, stirrings about alliances have been trickling past our ears. However, there have been talks about double-crossing as well even though the game has barely started. We’ve already seen drastic changes in peoples’ characters. Be brave though, for only the strongest and swiftest shall prevail. DUN DUN DUN… Always be on the lookout. Behind every tree, a MASAssin there’ll be. Stay strong MASAssins and watch your back, you never when you’ll get tagged.

Hey MASAssins,

If you couldn’t make it to MASA’s GBM tonight, it’s okay because the MASAssin Gods are still at PC EAST next to Bombay Coast until 11:30 PM.

Also, please check the MASAssins Website every night to stay updated: http://ucsdmasa.org/masassins2010/ Important updates and the day’s safety (if there is one) will be posted at approximately 12AM.

A Quick recap of information discussed during GBM:

1) NAME TAGS: Please keep the name tag of your target with you at all times. The name tag holds the name of your target and you must place the name tag on your target in order to “kill” them. If you get tagged, you must hand over your name tag to the person who tagged you. The killer and the person who was tagged must both email the MASAssin Gods at masassins@gmail.com with the time and place of the kill. It would also be interesting if you can include a description of how you killed that person.

2) SAFETIES/SAFE ZONES: Classes that you attend are safe areas where you cannot be tagged, so if you attend that class you are SAFE. Keep in mind that random classrooms that you run into are NOT considered SAFE areas, only classes that you actually attend. Also, apartments OFF campus are considered off limits. The rooms in the apartments and dorms ON campus are considered SAFE, but the common areas and kitchens in the ON CAMPUS dorms and apartments are NOT SAFE. MASA events are considered SAFE as well during the event and 15 minutes before and after the event ends.

3) OBJECTIVE SAFETIES: There will be certain objectives or missions that can be achieved for a LIMITED number of MASAssins. If you reach the mission, you will receive an objective safety in which case, you can pick a day to be SAFE from being tagged. NOTE: you must tell the MASAssin Gods at least one day before you plan to use your objective safety. People who are SAFE for the day will be updated on the MASAssins website.

4) KILL POINTS: To win MASAssins, you must be the last person alive.. However, it is highly likely that there will be multiple survivors in this game. Therefore, if there are multiple survivors, then the (living) MASAssin with the most kill points will be crowned the winner of MASAssins 2010. [This is subject to change if a killed MASAssin were to have the most kill points. In this situation, the living MASAssin with the most kill points and the dead MASAssin with the most kill points will both be crowned the winners]. Kill points are given in virtue of the amount of kills you have. You can also receive extra kill points during gameplay by achieving certain objectives set forth by the MASAssins Gods.

5) EMAIL: REMEMBER to email the MASAssin Gods at masassins@gmail.com if you get tagged or if you tagged someone. The killer and the victim must BOTH send the email.
