MoMASA Presents: Free SDAFF Film Screenings

What: SDAFF Free Film Screenings
Where: Piazza Carmel Shopping Plaza 3870 Valley Centre Drive San Diego, CA
When: August 4 at 6:30pm - August 25 at 11:00pm

How is everyone doing this summer? Having lots of fun in the sun of being very studious? Are you guys going through some MASA withdrawals? Don't worry, Fall Quarter and the return of official MASA events with new and familiar faces will be here in no time. But until then, we have a great MoMASA event for the entire month of August, thanks to our wonderful friends at the San Diego Asian Film Foundation (SDAFF).

SDAFF will be hosting a month-long Outdoor Film Series sponsored by Piazza Carmel Shopping Plaza. There will be FREE film screenings every Wednesday evening @ 8pm in August, as well as some extra entertainment at 7pm.

1st film on August 4: Kung-Fu Film Night (Enter the Dragon)
2nd film on August 11: Animation Film Night
3rd film on August 18: Break Dance Film Night (Planet B-Boy)
4th film on August 25: International Film Night

Each Wednesday, we will meet at Peterson Loop @ 6:15pm to provide rides to the Piazza Carmel Shopping Plaza for anyone interested in attending the film screenings. It will be a great chance to go out and enjoy some wonderful films from SDAFF with new and familiar faces!

**Some Things to Keep In Mind**
- We want you to be there! So if you cannot meet at this time, please let us know and we'll try to figure something out.
- These are outdoor film screenings so be sure to bring a jacket because it might get chilly, we wouldn't want you to get sick.
- We might go out for some dessert or boba afterwards, so remember to bring some money.
- There is a "Watch and Win" Program where you can earn free tickets to the San Diego Asian Film Festival by attending these outdoor screenings!

There will be a huge celebration marking the 70th birthday of the iconic beloved actor and martial artist, Bruce Lee. The exciting event will include a film screening of Bruce Lee's ENTER THE DRAGON to commemorate his life, special tribute by fellow actor Jim Kelly (ENTER THE DRAGON, BLACK BELT JONES), a Bruce Lee Look-alike contest, martial arts exhibition, special games and giveaways, musical performances, and much more!

First of all, congratulations to all the graduates of MASA this year! Each and every one of you have contributed to making MASA what it is today and we appreciate you for everything that you have done.

On another note, please have one exciting Summer everybody! Look forward to another amazing year with MASA this Fall. Many projects are under way. Stay tuned!

Tired of staying up studying? Sick of relying on energy drinks?

Where: Price Center 2nd Floor, Green Room
When: 6PM - 10PM, June 2nd
Bring: Anything you need to study with and nothing that will distract you and/or others (ie. Games) and PLEASE BRING A POWER STRIP

For all free food lovers and MASA lovers, this is the event for YOU! YES YOU! Oh Yeahh you!

We know that nothing is better than having a good time with a group of wonderful people and delicious food so we will be going all out on toppings, anything to keep everyone smiling :)

IT IS MASA's last event of the year and you DO NOT WANT TO MISS OUT ON THIS!
